9.29.2009 - South Bend Regional Airport to help Michiana with Digiital Services

The South Bend Regional Airport unveiled plans to develop an "Active Cross connect Facility" to help foster economic development through technology. Within the next few months they will begin offering co location type services to companies around the Midwest out of their location in South Bend IN. This project is enhanced by two key regional network initiatives; The St. Joe Valley Metronet and South Shore Fiber Link that have cross connect points within the airport facility. All of these are integrated through the consulting work of CCI.
5.15.2009 - South Shore Fiberlink releases fiber for use!!
This month NICTD, the operating company of the South Shore Passenger Rail Line, unveils it plans to offer up for use spare fiber optic cables along its 75 miles of tracks throughout northwest Indiana. At a time where technology and cost savings are key advantages for weathering the economic storm, the "South Shore Fiber Link" is poised to help. As other fiber projects completed, CCI is providing key consulting and management services to this project to ensure its success.
5.13.2008 - More Disturbing Numbers for Telcos
May 13, 2008 11:02 AM, By Carol Wilson Two separate sources this week are offering up more analysis showing the telcos are falling behind the cable companies in the broadband and video battle. Information Gatekeepers, an analyst firm that once predicted the telcos would overtake cable in broadband penetration, this week issued its High-Speed Access Report for the first quarter of 2008, showing cable is outperforming its forecast and the telcos are under-performing what IGI had forecast in 2006. The latest report is in keeping with what IGI began saying in 2007, when it warned that both AT&T and Verizon were falling behind in implementing high-speed access plans, and thus their data revenues would not make up for lost wireline access income.
5.12.2008 - Sprint's loss widens, sees slow improvement
NEW YORK (Reuters) Sprint Nextel (S), the No. 3 U.S. wireless service provider, reported a wider quarterly loss Monday on steep customer defections, and forecast only marginal improvements in the current quarter. Sprint, whose shares fell in trading, also said it could seek waivers or amendments from its creditors, even though it expects to have enough cash on hand to operate its business and repay all its maturing debts through the end of 2009. "This is a nightmare game of whack-a-mole where new problems keep popping up faster that you can address," said Bernstein analyst Craig Moffett.
